Good to know:

-
All animals rehomed by Milo’s Mission are fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and treated for fleas & worms. (see details below). Adult animals (six months or over) are neutered or spayed. If you adopt a puppy you are asked to sign an agreement to have the puppy neutered or spayed when it is six months old and you will also be given a neuter /spay voucher to use at Blacklion Pet Hospital, Greystones (www.vets.ie). Your newly adopted animal will also get a free first visit at Blacklion Pet Hospital after adoption and a free bag of food.
-
All animals will be fully vaccinated for Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus and Leptospirosis. These will be valid for 12 months from the date of administration. Kennel Cough and Rabies vaccines are not routinely administered but can be given in advance of adoption if requested, for an additional fee.
-
All animals will also be treated for roundworms and tapeworms with Milbemax. They are treated for fleas, ticks, skin & ear mites with Bravecto (which lasts for 3 months).
-
All animals will be microchipped and registered to Milo’s Mission Rescue on the national microchip database www.fido.ie. Once the adoption is completed the microchip registration will transfer from Milo’s Mission Rescue to the new owner.

Please let us know if it is not working with your newly adopted animal and we will try to support you in overcoming any problems that may have arisen or discussing the alternatives.
