Adoption Programme

Thank you for considering becoming an adopter of a Milo’s Mission Rescue animal. To complete the process the following will happen:
-
A completed adoption form must be completed.
-
A home check will be carried out.
-
You will have asked to identify an animal that you are interested in.
-
The adoption fee will be discussed.
Our adoption fees are €325 for a dog and €175 for a cat and is payable in advance of collection
of the animal. The full cost of all vaccinations and spaying/neutering (some of which may be done after adoption date, depending on the pet’s age) are entirely covered by Milo’s Mission Rescue. Your adoption fee goes entirely towards payment of vet bills for your new pet.
Good to know:
-
All dogs are fully vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus and Leptospirosis (Kennel Cough and Rabies vaccines are not routinely administered but can be given in advance ofadoption if requested, for an additional fee). They are treated for fleas, ticks, mites and worms. Those aged at least 6 months are neutered/spayed. Puppies less than 6 months of age at the time of adoption must be neutered/spayed when they are 6 months old, the cost of which is covered by Milo’s Mission Rescue at Blacklion Vets in Greystones (www.vets.ie). They are also microchipped and registered to Milo’s Mission Rescue on the national microchip database www.fido.ie. Once the adoption is completed the microchip registration will transfer from Milo’s Mission Rescue to the new owner.
-
All cats are fully vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks, mites and worms. Those aged at least 5 months are neutered/spayed.
